The Empress used to be part of the Royal Caribbean Cruise International fleet and was bought by Pullmantur Cruises. The ship still has hints of RCCI. This is a ship with international clientele, so it is not unusual to hear Spanish, French and Italian spoken. This is also reflected in the dining. The choice was international with a wide variety of dishes, both hot and cold. Self service in the buffet restaurant, where you also help yourself to wine and drinks.
Entertainment on board is suitable for any nationality as it is usually dancing and singing shows. We were shown inside, outside and balcony cabins but were unable to view all types of cabin as the ship was full. A great choice for families especially with the all inclusive option.
