5 Tips To Enjoy Europe's Christmas Markets
June 15, 2017
At the foot of Burg Klopp, the medieval Bingen Christmas market is waiting for visitors who are interested in archery, pottery or felting. As you explore your exciting surroundings, there is plenty to keep children occupied, as they can tell Santa Claus himself what they would like for Christmas, get their face painted, take part in baking cooking or some interactive singing activities. Nearly all the exhibitors are regional and offer traditional products. Besides local cuisine of Gluhwein and salmon cooked over an open fire, you can acquire gifts in the form of cosmetics, jewellery and hand-made decorations.
The Christmas market in Bingen only takes place over two days in December, making all the more special.
