A Heritage of Perfection: Unveiling the Seven Seas Grandeur

24
November 2023

Regent Seven Seas Cruises, the epitome of opulence and sophistication in the world of luxury cruising, has just welcomed its sixth ship into The World's Most Luxurious Fleet™ - the magnificent Seven Seas Grandeur™. A Heritage of Perfection, this vessel is a testament to over three decades of Regent's expertise in delivering unparalleled luxury cruising experiences. Some of our Senior Leadership team and their guests were honoured to step onboard last week for an advance preview sailing.

Setting Sail into Elegance

Constructed by the premier ship builder Fincantieri in Ancona, Italy, Seven Seas Grandeur is a true masterpiece, crafted in just over two years. With a gross tonnage of 55,500, a staff of 548, and an exclusive capacity for only 746 guests, the ship promises one of the highest space and staff-to-guest ratios in the industry. This ensures an unmatched level of space, service, and luxury for those fortunate enough to step aboard.

Inaugural Voyage and Gala Celebration

Captain Luciano Montesanto, with his exceptional senior leadership team, will command Seven Seas Grandeur's maiden voyage from Venice (Trieste), Italy to Barcelona, Spain on November 18, 2023. The ship will then traverse the Atlantic to Miami, Florida, for an elegant and exclusive gala event on December 10, 2023. The christening duties will be performed by the ship's Godmother, Sarah Fabergé, a founding member of The Fabergé Heritage Council and great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé.

A Year of Luxury Exploration

Following the gala, guests will embark on an extraordinary journey, exploring the Caribbean, transiting the Panama Canal, sailing the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, and crossing the Atlantic from New York to Barcelona. The ship's itinerary includes witnessing the vibrant colours of Fall in Canada & New England, exploring the Mediterranean for the summer of 2024, and indulging in the warmth of the Caribbean to close out the year.

Accommodations Fit for Royalty

Seven Seas Grandeur boasts 15 stunning accommodation categories, ranging from 307 square feet to over 4,443 square feet. From the opulent $11,000-a-night Regent Suite to the contemporary Distinctive Suites, each design evokes an elevated, residential feel, emphasizing natural light, meticulous layouts, and exquisite materials.

Culinary Excellence

Epicurean Perfection takes centre stage with 8 exquisite dining experiences, including 5 complimentary specialty restaurants. Senior Executive Chef Michael Meyepa and Food & Beverage Director Stéphane Carriou, along with a dedicated crew, promise an unrivalled dining experience. The ship's Culinary Arts Kitchen offers guests the opportunity to broaden their culinary skills with hands-on classes and special demonstrations.

Art, Entertainment, and Relaxation

Seven Seas Grandeur is a floating art gallery with a 1,600-piece art collection, featuring a custom-designed masterpiece - Journey in Jewels, the first Fabergé Egg to permanently reside at sea. Guests will also be treated to four new productions, showcasing world-class performers and breath-taking choreography.

For those seeking relaxation, the Serene Spa & Wellness™ experience offers new and exclusive spa treatments, including the indulgent Zero Gravity Wellness Massage and the Tahitian Hydration Ritual exclusively for Regent Suite guests.

As Seven Seas Grandeur sets sail, it carries with it the legacy of Regent's commitment to luxury, elegance, and unforgettable experiences. This new addition to The World's Most Luxurious Fleet™ promises to redefine the standards of opulence at sea, offering a truly unparalleled journey for those fortunate enough to be part of its inaugural season.
