Most cruise lines now offer clubs for children from nursery age right up to special teen’s clubs so the whole family is catered for on board. These clubs allow children to make friends, partake in fantastic activities and learn new skills to show off to their families; all whilst exploring the countries they visit along the way. Teen-only zones let teens have their own space without being crowded by their parents or younger family members.

Family cruises are available from a wide range of departure ports all over the world and can take you and your family as far away as Australasia, Pacific, Caribbean, North America and the Far East. Closer to the UK other options for the families include the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands, the Black Sea and North Europe.

Some cruise lines are specifically designed with families in mind, specifically Royal Caribbean and P&O. These ships offer kids clubs, sporting activities, cinemas, family specific dining options and mini water parks.
