Al-Andalus

See Offers

The Al-Andalus is a slightly lesser-known train than some of the other European luxury offerings, but it is by no means any less special. In fact, the lounge, bar, restaurant and five of the seven sleeping carriages were built from 1928-1930 by Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits - the very same company that built the original Orient Express carriages. The romantic interior features some beautiful marquetry and luxurious upholstery on the inviting furniture and opulent drapes.

The private sleeper cabins all feature comfortable lower beds and are spacious and en-suite. They are all decorated in the warm colours of the region, and are serviced by a steward 24-hours.

Your time on the train is spent savouring gastronomic delights and beverages, including typical Andalusian cuisine, as well as on-board entertainment in sumptuous surroundings. You will also enjoy an array of fascinating excursions with some free time to relax and watch the landscapes roll by through the large windows.

You can choose between “The Andalusian”; a week-long roundtrip from Seville to explore the region in consummate style; “Heart of Spain” from Santiago de Compostela in the north to Seville in the south of Spain and NEW FOR 2021:  “The Lusitanian”, a short trip of just 3 nights from Seville and across into Portugal. All the trips are full board, with a selections of drinks included with meals. Call our team of helpful specialists to build this train into your dream holiday.
