In the heart of the three-border region Germany, France, Switzerland, between the Black Forest and the Vosges mountains, the Europa-Park Resort excites millions of visitors from all over the world each year. For Rollercoaster Junkies

Alpenexpress Enzian (also available with VR)

A runaway train that thunders through the Austrian area in search of diamonds. The VR story currently includes an appearance from Paddington Bear.

Arthur

Based on the children's film 'Arthur and the Invisibles', riders sit in the cars with their legs hanging down and proceed to race through an underground world. Oversized characters such as insects make you feel tiny in this unfamiliar setting.

Atlantica SuperSpalsh

One of many great water rides at Europa-park, Atlantica SuperSplash is sure to leave you drenched. After completing the first climb, you are turned around to travel backwards briefly, before spinning again and falling down to earth engulfed by a wave.

Blue Fire Megacoaster

0-60 in just over two seconds - this thrilling ride is not for the faint-hearted. You'll speed through loop-the-loops and corkscrews, pulling nearly 4Gs as you go.

Eurosat - CanCan Coaster (also available with VR)

This new rollercoaster in the dark has two very different ride experiences. One queue allows you to enjoy the twists and turns of the standard coaster, whilst the other leads to a specially designed train where riders don VR headsets.

Wodan – Timburcoaster

This classic coaster will shake you to your very core, as you thumber along the wooden track and around steep corners.

Silver Star

This thrilling attraction is the tallest rollercoaster at Europa-park, firing you into a series of ups and downs at around 80 miles per hour.

Poseidon

An exciting cross between a log flume and a rollercoaster, Poseidon will propel you along a track and then bring you back down to earth with a splash.

Voletarium

A high-flying family adventure, Voletarium takes you soaring over many of Europe's most recognisable cities without ever leaving the park.

Matterhorn Blitz

Riding in small cars, you will get the sensation of climbing up and down the Swiss Alps on this jerky but thrilling adventure.

Pegasus – The YoungStar Coaster

How to get there

Europa-Park is located in the border triangle Germany - France - Switzerland and very convenient to reach.

The following links provide further information on your arrival by car, public transport, coach (private company or long-distance), by plane or shuttle service.

By Car

You can reach us via the motorway A5 (exit 57b Rust). Follow the slip road 57b Rust and you will come directly to Europa-Park and the Europa-Park hotels.  

  • From the North: Motorway A 5 - direction Basel - exit 'Rust' (57 b)
  • From the South: Motorway A 5 - direction Frankfurt - exit 'Rust' (57 b)

Please note that the motorway exit 57b Rust is closed between the 9th and 11th September 2019. If coming from the south, take exit 58 Herbolzheim and turn off via Rheinhausen. There will be no restrictions for drivers coming from the North. You can travel via highway exit Rust.

By Public Transport

Ringsheim train station is just 4km from Europa-Park and isregarded as the official stop for Europa-Park - from here you can reach the main entrance of Europa-Park and the Europa-Park Hotels by taking the 7231 bus service, which runs at regular intervals.

Hotel Bell Rock

Hotel Bell Rock Europa-Park

The New England-themed Hotel Bell Rock has a lighthouse outside complete with a luxury penthouse suite at the top. The main building is stylishly decorated with wood-panelled interior and the bunk beds in the family rooms are in the shape of rowing boats. The harbourside restaurant offers buffet breakfasts and dinners as you surround an old shipwreck, and there's also a spa, fitness centre and outdoor pool.

Hotel Colosseo

Hotel Colosseo Europa-Park

Be transported back to Ancient Rome in this Italian hotel which includes rooms inside the replica Colosseum. Fountains dance in the piazza-like courtyard and there are many different Italian restaurants to choose from. Other facilities include a wellness area that offers a pool and a sauna.

Hotel Santa Isabel

With staff dressed as monks and an underground beer cellar available for private parties, the Hotel Santa Isabel welcomes you into a Portuguese monastery. The Sala Santa Isabel is a cosy restaurant offering a choice of Iberian dishes and the wellness facilities create the perfect atmosphere in which to relax.

Hotel El Andaluz

Hotel El Andaluz Europa-Park

Created to resemble a peaceful Spanish finca, Hotel El Andaluz boasts a beautiful central garden over which authentic washing hanging from windows overhead. The beautifully appointed rooms feature sprawling murals and tiled floors, adding to the Mediterranean feeling. Meals can be enjoyed in the lively Don Quichotte restaurant which is part of the hotel but also located in the Spanish area of the park.

Hotel Castillo Alcazar

Castillo Alcazar Europa-Park

If you've ever wanted to spend the night in a castle, now is your chance. Medieval suits of armour line the imposing hallways of the Hotel Castillo Alcazar, lavish four-poster beds can be found in the suites and Spanish cuisine is served in the elaborate banquet hall.

Hotel Krønasår (Coming 2019)

To accompany the brand new Rulantica waterpark, a Nordic-themed hotel is being built in the image of the iconic Nyhavn Harbour in Copenhagen. There will be a bridge across this new underwater world and the hotel will display faux oddities procured by the fictional 'Adventure Club if Europe'.

Camp Resort

If your budget is tight or you love being in the outdoors, the Wild West-themed campsite offering the perfect accommodation. You can choose to sleep in a teepee, log cabin or covered wagon in a picturesque lakeside setting. You'll also have access to a breakfast room, the Saloon restaurant, storage lockers, free Wi-Fi and vending machines.

Golf Courses

Just a 15-minute drive from Europa-park, you will find two golf courses where you can indulge your passion during your break. The 9-hole is open to the public and perfect for beginners and those who don't have a license to play on German courses, whilst the 18-hole Championship course requires such a license and is much more challenging. Both courses offer fantastic views over rolling vineyards and the beautiful Black Forest. Clubs, buggies and pull trolleys are all available for rent if you don't have yours with you.

Halloween

Halloween at Europa-Park

Pumpkins and straw bales takeover Europa-park during Halloween, as the resort receives a ghoulish makeover. A special Halloween show creates a spooky atmosphere for the little ones, whilst a themed parade is something that the whole family can enjoy. Many of the attractions are also presented with a seasonal twist, as the teacups become the 'creepy cups' and you get the chance to ride the Feria Swing backwards. Lastly, serious thrill-seekers might like to test their nerves in one of five eerie, live-action mazes.

Christmas

Christmas At Europa-Park

Feel the festive fun at the end of November and into December when Europa-Park and its hotels are transformed by the magic of Christmas. Decorated with thousands of twinkling lights, artificial snow and traditional fir trees, the park celebrates the yuletide season in style. Thanks to the mulled wine and roasted nuts, it even smells like Christmas. At this time of year, a big wheel can be found in the Portuguese area, an ice rink and children's ski school both appear in Scandinavia, and 30 ice sculptures are displayed throughout Spain. There are also two Christmas markets (a traditional German one and a medieval one) and delicious festive treats can be found all over the park.
