Berlin Christmas Markets

We flew out early in the morning to explore some of the Berlin Christmas Markets plus we had a coach tour of the city. Berlin has so many different areas from shopping to sightseeing including visiting museums. It is easy to get around using the public transport system. A selection of delicious food and a variety of sweets are all on offer at the many markets stalls or you can buy some Christmas gifts most of which are handmade.

We enjoyed some mulled wine at one of the stalls. We visited the Maritim ProArte hotel which is located near to the Gendarmenmarkt Christmas Market, Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie. The rooms are modern and the hotel has 2 restaurants and a bar plus there is a spa area with an indoor pool.

Although we had a great day you do really need more time to explore the city as there is so much to see.
