Visiting Ischia

Relatively unknown in comparison to the neighbouring island Capri, Ischia is characterised by lush vegetation and offers huge parks and incredible beaches, as well as beautiful landscapes and breath-taking sunsets. This Italian paradise is also famous for its thermal waters, ancient crafts and culinary traditions, and is home to Italy’s best wine for 2018.

After a short ferry ride from Naples, which offers fantastic views of the coastline, you arrive into Ischia. Most hotels on the island host thermal pools for bathing or, alternatively, you can visit one of the thermal spas located on the island, meaning Ischia is a true utopia for relaxation.

In true Italian style, dining with family and friends is also a big part of life in Ischia and this can be seen through the many bars and restaurants surrounding the villages and port areas.

Whilst the island is inhabited year-round, tourism is key during the period from April to October, offering milder temperatures during the summer months in comparison to mainland Italy.
