Prague Christmas Market

The Prague Christmas Markets are held in Wenceslas Square and the Old Town Square. On 150 wooden stalls, you will find everything for Christmas - decorated gingerbread, roast chestnuts and fragrant punch. Enjoy the adorned Christmas tree while the atmosphere is completed by the sound of Christmas concerts taking place all over the city.

Christmas is a special time of the year in Prague and the Christmas markets are an essential part of Czech festive magic. The market in the Old Town is one of the most iconic attractions, covered in twinkling lights and draped in tinsel, the beautiful centrepiece is a spectacular sight for all visitors. Other smaller, but no less impressive markets can be found around Havelska Trziste, Namesti Miru and Namesti Republiky. The magical areas consist of rows of brightly decorated wooden huts, selling Czech handicrafts, hot food specialities and warm drinks.
