Würzburg Christmas Market

In the heart of Würzburg's old town, one of Germany's most picturesque and enchanting Christmas markets is held creating a tradition that dates back to the early 19th century. Enjoy a stroll through more than 100 wooden stalls, sampling delicious Christmas cookies and roasted almonds while sipping the traditional Gluhwein. Wooden toys, jewellery, fine teas and spices, traditional Christmas decorations, scented candles, pottery, embroideries, and hand-knitted gifts ensure that no-one goes home empty handed. You will find the Würzburg Christmas Markets have a long history stretching back over many generations.
