Beautiful And Untamed Norway

As one of the best destinations in which to see the Northern Lights, Tromso is the gateway to the Arctic. The landscape here is different to more southern Norwegian cities, with snow staying in the highest parts all year and everywhere else having a more rugged look. Its somewhat remote position shouldn't lead you to think it's quiet, through. With a packed calendar of cultural events and more pubs per capita than any other Norwegian town, there's plenty going on within this part of the Arctic Circle.
The world's most northernmost Mosque, the Alnor Senter, can be found in Tromso.
