My favourite destination to visit is:

Haraki, Rhodes. This is one of the few places on the island that remains very Greek with just a few tavernas and a couple of bars all situated along a seafront promenade. It’s my go to chill week of the year.

My favourite ship/train/tour is:

The Flam railway in Norway. Absolutely stunning scenery on the 2-hour journey. When I did this we got off at the top station-Myrdal which is 2841ft above sea level and took the train down to Oslo which again is a great scenic 5-hour ride.

My travel bucket list contains:

Oh far too many to list. If I must choose some my first choice would have to be Macchu Picchu with Iceland a close second.

My expertise include:

Bringing to life the amazing places I’ve visited by talking too much! Oh and I can also make a mean pecan pie.

Destinations I have visited:

Borneo, South Africa, Swaziland, Vietnam, Jamaica, Bequia, Mustique, Barbados, Antigua, Kenya, India, Croatia, Poland and loads of Greek islands and European Cities too.

I started work in travel in:

If I tell you the answer to that one then you’ll be able to work out how old I am! So let’s just say I’ve been in this great industry forever!! 😊 I started with Pickfords Travel on the very first YTS scheme (those of you old enough to remember YTS will now know how old I am!) I love exploring new places-especially those off the beaten track. I am definitely a dromomaniac!

My favourite travel memory

In 2018 I was very fortunate to travel to India-one of the places that has always been on my bucket list! It definitely didn’t disappoint…such an amazing country of colours, smells, sounds and breath-taking scenery. I’m not embarrassed to admit my first sighting of the Taj Mahal bought tears to my eyes as it had that overwhelming WOW factor. From the madness of Mumbai to the relaxation of Ranthambore I would recommend it to anyone.
