My favourite destination to visit is:

Vietnam - I've been fortunate enough to visit there a few times and you have beautiful sights such as Halong Bay and Hoi An, but one thing that always stays with me is how lovely the people are too. It's a country that has so much to offer and with the North, Central and South areas being so different from each other it is like visiting three countries in one.

My favourite ship/train/tour is:

I loved my journey a few years back on the Bernina Express. I caught it from Tirano in Italy over to St. Moritz in Switzerland. From lakes and mountains to forests and a Glacier, it's a journey that has everything.

My travel bucket list contains:

A lot of places but number one is still Japan. I have always been intrigued about the culture of the country as well as the people. I love the fact that you have both the tranquillity of Mount Fuji compared to the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.

My expertise include:

River cruising and touring holidays. Both are an amazing way of seeing any country and I've spent a lot of time doing and promoting both.

Destinations I have visited:

Most of central Europe and a lot of Asia including India, China and Vietnam. The furthest place I've travelled to is New Zealand and I've also spent time in the USA, the Caribbean and have also done a safari in Kenya.

I started work in travel in:

I first studied Travel and Tourism at College and then started as a Travel Agent back in 1992 with American Express.

My favourite travel memory

I've been lucky to travel to many parts of the world but I think my favourite memory is being on the Great Wall of China. Growing up, you knew it was something iconic and when you're young you can't imagine stepping foot on one of the seven wonders of the world but I did it!
