Fred. Hotel Jardin Tecina

22
April 2016

I recently stayed at the Hotel Jardin Tecina in La Gomera in the Canary Islands. I visited another hotel in Tenerife before I got on the ferry, the Jardin Tropical in Costa Adeje, a lovely hotel right near Siam Park with fantastic sea views. It had a very airy, a quite modern reception and good size rooms. A good place to stay, especially if you are looking for one or two nights before or after a Hotel Jardin Tecina stay.

The ferry to La Gomera from Tenerife took 50 minutes and was flat calm. I then had a look around San Sebastian, the port in La Gomera before heading off to the hotel. San Sebastian is very quaint, with tiny shops and fantastic restaurants. Well worth a visit.

The Hotel Jardin Tecina is in the north of the island and takes about 45 minutes by car. It is a sprawling resort hotel set on a cliff top, fantastic sea views. If you love to golf, then this is the ideal course, pristine with beautiful flowers. Challenging golf but then everyone loves a challenge. You start uphill and work your way down. The hotel itself has so much to offer, a variety of room types, swimming pools and different restaurants to choose from. A little bit up or down hills so beware if you find walking difficulties. What can I say, I had a great time, the journey was worth it, the food, hotel rooms ( I stayed in a superior room with sea view), the staff, the golf were all fantastic. I will definitely go back again.
