La Gomera - Hotel Jardín Tecina

In 2015 I visited Hotel Jardin Tecina and what a pleasant surprise this idyllic resort was.

After an early morning flight and ferry crossing to the island of La Gomera, a well-appointed and spacious room awaited. After checking in and talking a walk around the hotel I could see why so many people visit time and time again.

From the moment you arrive that feeling of relaxation hits, and not only that but there is so much more than just the chance to relax. From golf to hiking and even a short walk to the local village offers more than most resorts boast.

Although the hotel was full of guests its design and multiple dining and lounge facilities gave the feeling of space and serenity. It was common in the evening that I enjoyed a drink on my balcony and hardly heard a sole.

Although a resort holiday is not my common choice, I am definitely looking to return especially during our winter period for some much needed winter sun.
