River Cruise Convention

I travelled to Amsterdam from London Stansted in November 2015 for 2 Nights to attend the annual River Cruise Convention. We stayed one night at the Movenpick Amsterdam City Centre which is a great location for joining a River Cruise or for a City Break without the hustle and bustle of the City Centre and the second night was spent on the A-Rosa River Cruise Ship. We were able to have a self-guided tour on the Amadeus River Cruises Amadeus Silver, Croisi Europe Lafayette, Scenic Opal, Tauck Ms Inspire and Uniworld River Empress. The size and facilities on board were very much on a par although they were all decorated very differently and varied from 3-5* River Cruising.

This trip gave me a great insight in to River Cruising and allowed me to see a variation of ships.
