Turkey

April 2016

Annual holidays this year are a bit earlier than usual. With everything in the world that is happening, I had to think where best to take the family this year. I looked at many options but the children really wanted to visit Turkey again. I know that some people were worried about visiting this area but the country is huge and the resorts are a long way from the area of conflict. So we went for a couple of weeks to Fethiye. A beautiful part of the country, near the Blue Lagoon.

For the first time we had all inclusive, which I would never normally have, however I must say that this worked out perfectly for us. We stayed at the Club Tuana Park Hotel, they have large bedrooms there which is something I always look for as we take our grand children. We spent lovely days out on gulets (small wooden boat), swimming in the sea, eating out, shopping in the markets and walking around Fethiye Harbour spotting the many turtles there. We all loved it. Turkey was quiet but we had a great time and would recommend it to families.
