Bad Munster am Stein-Ebernburg

Throughout all four weekends of the Advent season, probably the most romantic Christmas market in the Rhineland takes place in the spa gardens of Bad Muenster am Stein-Ebernburg. A veritable sea of lights brighten the ancient trees in a glowing lustre and the old gable of the Kurmittelhaus is spanned with hundreds of lights, which show the silhouette of one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses throughout the region. The illuminated Rheingrafenstein castle rises imposingly over the park and helps to create the incomparable ambiance you will find at this market.

Around 90 booths offer a variety of festive treats while you take a cozy stroll throughout the park. Here you will find fragrant delicacies, candles, tree ornaments, wood art, decorative cribs, birdhouses Advent flower arrangements and lovely gifts. There is also an array of local and regional delicacies of offer, with the aroma of freshly roasted almonds filling the air, as well as sausages, potato pancakes and a wealth of mulled and local wines to sample.

A warm treat is the hot spiced wine of the local vine dressers. Whether brass band or chant, puppet show or Christmas story, a varied program welcomes young and old.

The Christmas market is open on Saturdays from 2pm - 9pm and on Sundays from 12 noon - 8pm.
