The Karlovy Vary Region is world famous for its spas. Around 26 different resorts have made the area a popular tourist destination since the 19th century - the most famous landmark is the Pramen Vřídlo geyser, located in The Hot Spring Colonnade and reaching heights of around 12m.
Karlovy Vary houses many unique spas, including the Beer Spa located in the town centre. Here, they mix raw materials and ingredients with traditional healing procedures to produce a unique experience. The handmade 1,000-litre whirlpools make use of the natural extracts from the brewing process of Krušovice® beer. The essential oils used help with pores and revitalising the body, whereas the brewing yeast helps to regenerate the skin, due to its high levels of vitamin B. This whole experience can help to wash out harmful substances, relax built-up tension and boost your metabolism.
The Jeleni Skok Rock translates to mean Deer Leap Rock and is a statue located nearby. There is a variety of hiking trails for different levels that allow you to see the landmark itself, as well as amazing views of Karlovy, Vary from the top of the hill.
