The Eco Finca is an organic garden measuring 9,500 square metres and split into 19 different plots. The project celebrates the diverse ecosystems on La Gomera and provides responsibly sourced and sustainable food for the hotel. Through a combination of fertile soil and fantastic weather, it is possible to produce a wide range of fruit and vegetables that are carefully cultivated to preserve the ground for future crops. Many of these are on offer in the buffet restaurant and a brand new eco-friendly menu has also been created for the Club Laurel Restaurant.
If you want to see how the food gets from the Eco Finca to your table, guided tours of the garden are available every Tuesday at 10 am. Ask at reception for more details.
